I haven’t posted recently, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy. Unfortunately, though I write, edit, or plot almost daily, it’s been a while since I’ve felt inclined to publish anything here, on my website. Plus, my day job has kept me occupied and my computer recently had a nervous breakdown-I was surprised at how calmly I handled that hiccup.
But I digress, this is filler…just me trying to fill space by expressing my lack of posts without feeling guilty. I’m not sure it’s working…it really has been a long time since I posted.
So, why am I trying to fill space?
Because I’ve got some exciting news and didn’t want to just say, “Hey guess what…” but if that’s what I need to do, that’s what I need to do.
So, here goes:
Guess What?
Preorders for “Mermaidens” are now open.
Why is this exciting? Because this anthology of “nineteen tales about women with tails” includes one written by me, “The Woman in the Sea”. This is the first time a story of mine has been included in an anthology, so you can see why I’m excited.
I’ve had a sneak peek at a few of the other stories, and I’m thrilled to be included with this group of talented writers. Plus, as a self-proclaimed beach bum and fan of fantasy, myths, and legends, the theme naturally calls to me. If I saw it on a bookstore shelf, I would have been drawn to it – even if I weren’t in it.
So, where and how do you pre-order your copy? It’s available in a few places, depending on the format you prefer – digital or print.
If you’d like the e-format, follow this link and choose your preferred e-pub/digital retailer. If you use nook, follow the Barnes and Noble link below, they offer both formats.
If you’re a print person, you’ve got a few options as well:
First there’s Author!Author! , and independent online retailer that specializes in small press print books.
Then there’s Barnes and Noble, need I say more? They’ve been around a while.
And of course, there’s Amazon.
You may have noticed I added the links to the sidebar too. Whichever you choose, know you are supporting me, eighteen other writers, and a small publisher! And if you’re local and/or know me personally, I’ll have a few extra copies available as well.
So that’s it, that’s my big news! If you look really closely, you can see my name on the back cover. But don’t strain your eyes, just get your own copy. 😉
Just a reminder, if you haven’t already subscribed, do so. That way, when I do publish stories, essays, or updates, you’ll be the first to know!
